Mindless Supports Longboarding For Peace UK

Here at Mindless, we are stoked to say that we are supporting ‘Longboarding For Peace’!
Initially set up by the man behind Concrete Wave magazine, Michael Brooke, Longboarding for Peace, has moved around the world to unite communities and has now hit the UK in the hope to get our kids riding together too.

Chris Pearson recently got in touch with Mindless to tell us all about his plans for the UK branch, which he is running, and we said that we would be happy to support the initiative.

Anything that gets kids out there on longboards is good to us!

L4P UK will launch on December 7th and 8th at Mount Hawke Skatepark, which is a charity fun centre.

The team and all the kids involved will be wearing their helmets, covered in logos of all the supporters as well as riding some fantastic boards and wheels. Be sure to look out for the Mindless products.

After the launch event, the organisers will be attending charity events and schools in a bid to introduce longboarding for fitness, fun, friendship and self worth.

Longboarding for Peace is going to be covered every quarter in Concrete Wave magazine, so be sure to check it out for all the latest updates and photos. There is also talk of it being featured in Thrill and Thane mags, so keep your eyes peeled!

If you want to help support the initiative, head over to Facebook and like their page. There you will be able to find out all the information you need to get involved, or just to give some support.

We will be back with updates as soon as we get them.
